Thanks to Aunt Aly and Uncle Ben for bringing these awesome pjs home from Singapore for us. They are awesome and we are so glad they finally fit! My dad brought me a pair of pjs just like this when I was little and I loved them.

Ice Cream Cones

It is good to be back but these two weren't sure what to think of me when I walked in the door halfway through dinner. They warmed up after I gave them their first ice cream cones - who says you can't buy love?

The Hot Dog Bistro

We've gone high class here since Heather has been gone for a few days. When we came home from a long day of soccer games (see below) and I told the kids I was grilling hot dogs instead of taking them to dinner, they improvised and brought the restaurant to our house. Spencer took our orders (under Sydney's close supervision) and together they prepared the plates and served all of us. We had hot dogs prepared to order, a choice of two sides (baked beans, oranges, or both), veggie straws and our choice of beverages. We even had wrapped silverware that was lovingly held shut with painter's tape. Dinner was topped off by a custom-made sundae.

Another Spring Day

If you look closely, Connor's only wearing one shoe. In my zeal to take the kids to the park for a pizza picnic, I didn't notice he was missing one.

This is Spencer in a nutshell: we were at the park to enjoy a beautiful spring evening, and after watching for a couple of minutes, Spencer stepped onto the tennis courts and began shagging balls for two strangers. He loves to be involved in any sport available.

We capped the day off by starting a Star Wars sleepover party - I'm a horrible parent who's never shown the kids Star Wars.

New Bikes

Spencer and Sydney have been saving up their money and decided to buy themselves new bikes on Saturday. It was such a busy day that they barely had time to try them out. Today was a perfect bike riding day!

Bath time

Connor had a bath earlier in the morning thanks to an awesome diaper. He couldn't keep his hands out of the water while I was bathing Catie and leaned a little too far forward and ended up right in the tub. He didn't like his wet clothes and didn't move until I got him undressed. Here's to two baths today!
