"Water"ing the flowers

I was helping the kids with their homework while Catie and Connor were playing outside. I looked out the window to check on them and found this:
I literally laughed out loud and grabbed the camera. We all had a good laugh.

Cousin love

We love having our cousins come and visit and we are SO SAD that they are moving to Utah next month.

Waiting for the mail

They have been waiting all week for the mail to come with their teacher assignment. So excited for school to start next week!

Raingutter regatta

Spencer (with the help of his mama) built a super fast boat and perfected his blowing technique and won the Raingutter Regatta this year. IT was a fun night!

2 more Capitols checked off the list

We started the day in Oklahoma City and drove ALL day through Oklahoma, Arkansas, ALL of Tennessee and finally home to NC at about 3:00 am that morning. It was a LONG day and we are so happy to sleep in our own beds!

Homeward Bound

We started the trek home today driving on I-40 from Flagstaff, Az - through all of Arizona, ALL of New Mexico (that felt really long), the top of Texas and into Oklahoma.
