A busy birthday day
Happy Birthday Grandma {she turned 59 today}! We started the day with a Woolley tradition - waffles with warm berries and ice cream. Grandma opened up presents - all of the kids and grandkids wrote their favorite memory that were compiled into a book for her.
Connor helped grandma make cinnamon rolls
Kurt and Grandpa replaced our balusters with wrought iron ones - I LOVE how it turned out. More pictures later...
Our Blue and Gold banquet/Pinewood derby went off without a hitch and Spencer won 1st place!

Super Dad
Kurt is Super Dad and got a ton done with the kids while I was gone. Science fair projects, black history projects, cleaned the house, made an awesome breakfast, took them to the park, shuttled back and forth to a birthday party. Seriously, this guy is amazing. Plus, he let me sleep in this morning and this is how I found my family on this beautiful Sunday morning. Playing Old Maid. I love these guys.

Wax Museum
Sydney as Anne Frank in her class's wax museum today. She wrote a report and memorized important facts about Anne Frank that she shared when visitors pushed the "button" on her hand. She did a great job!
Mrs. Nottingham's class chose a wide range of people who changed the world. From Elvis, Coco Chanel, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney, to Joan of Arc.

Like Christmas in February
I won this $600 lens in a blog giveaway back in December and it arrived today! I am so excited to learn how to use it! It is a 18-270 mm lens and will be my new everyday lens. It takes great wide shots as well as super close ups! Just take a gander...
I was sitting in the sunroom taking this picture
and without moving I got a super close up of my dusty light fixture
Sweet! I love it! Hooray for winning super cool things! It doesn't happen very often but it is so fun when it does!
