Clubhouse

Catie and Connor reading books outside up in the playset. They were outside for hours today reading and playing and having a great time.

Double scoop

Connor ate his lunch with two spoons today - too funny! It was so nice to have dad come home aftger a fun weekend!

Ice cream for dinner

We worked hard cleaning today - we did baseboards, windows and took down and scrubbed all of the blinds downstairs. The kids all did a great job and they wanted waffles with berries and ice cream for dinner. After dinner - we went out for frozen yogurt - our reward for working super hard today!

Crafting

the kids and I did a craft project since dad was away for the weekend. We decopaged some pumpkins with old book pages - they turned out great and it was so fun but super messy!

Sydney got a pink hair extension at dance tonight in honor or breast cancer awareness month.

Catie put on this visor this morning and said, "I look like Grandma Woolley!" The visor is a signature style of Grandma Woolley at Lake Powell.

Touchdown!

Spencer played in his first flag football game today. He caught a pass in the end zone to score the only touch down in the game. He also had an awesome run down the whole length of the field that everyone thought was a touchdown but according to the ref, he stepped out of bounds. Nice first game bud!

Cut and paste

These cuties were so much fun at Joy School today. They got to cut colored paper and glue them to white paper. Connor was obsessed with his scissors and cut his paper into tiny pieces. I have never let them use scissors before and I am afraid he may like to use them a little too much!

Homework

School is in full swing and are doing a great job keeping up!

Joy School

I get to teach the first week of Joy School this week and I am so excited! I loved doing Joy school with Spencer and Sydney and am loving doing it again. I missed not doing Joy School with Abbie but we had a co-op preschool we loved for her too.

Cousin love

We love having our cousins come and visit and we are SO SAD that they are moving to Utah next month.

Spencer (with the help of his mama) built a super fast boat and perfected his blowing technique and won the Raingutter Regatta this year. IT was a fun night!

We started the day in Oklahoma City and drove ALL day through Oklahoma, Arkansas, ALL of Tennessee and finally home to NC at about 3:00 am that morning. It was a LONG day and we are so happy to sleep in our own beds!
