Whenever Connor disappears and it is quiet I always get a little worried but this is usually where I find him. He does puzzles all day long and LOVES them

Poor Catie was running full speed and crashed right into the corner of the wall. This awesome goose egg swelled up immediately. Poor girl.

Happy Easter?

These beautiful kids had a fun easter morning finding baskets and having an egg roll contest. I was finishing combing the last head of hair when I discovered one of my worst nightmares - LICE. I looked at my 8 month pregnant sister in law and we both just about broke down in tears. Unfortunately Mindy has dealt with this before and is an expert. We took a quick picture and then started treating every head of hair.
Here are the kids after drenching their hair with Listerine [the alcohol kills the lice] and putting on shower caps. Poor Cate was so tired and fell asleep on the floor.

Mindy walked me through everything I needed to do and we bagged everything soft in the house, vacuumed, lysoled the couches and hard surfaces. Not the way we wanted to spend Easter....

Maiden voyage

The weather warmed up enough Saturday afternoon to take the boat out. We had a great time and the water wasn't even very cold. We are super excited to have a boat and play a lot this summer!

Dyeing eggs

We are so excited to have my brother Scott and his family in town for the weekend! It was a rainy day so Mindy and I took the kids to Discovery Place and had a fun time. We hung around the house playing and dyed eggs.
