General Conference Choas

I look forward to General Conference weekend with anticipation. I think of how nice and relaxing it will be to sit with my family and calmly listen to the speakers and feel uplifted. The older kids are getting pretty good at listening and enjoying conference too but our 2 year olds are not really ready for that yet. We had 2 extra kids overnight and the combination of 7 kids, lots of crayons and papers(that were supposed to keep them quietly occupied) did not equal the calm peaceful day I had imagined. I will just have to make sure and read the Ensign really well next month : )

At least Spencer was paying attention : )

Soccer saturday

Sydney played well in her game today! Great job! We also enjoyed General Conference, dejunking out bedrooms and having the Sorensen boys come to stay with us.

I am one lucky girl

I went out on a date with this good looking guy tonight. He took me shopping for some new shoes and unmentionables and then to a fabulous dinner. I love you babe! Plus, doesn't he look great?

Funny kids

Catie has been obsessed with this little toy hair dryer all week and has pretended to dry everyone's hair. It makes noise like a blow dryer and she LOVES it.
Connor loves to pretend like he is playing Wii with Spencer. I thought this was so funny because he has both the remote and the joy stick in his hands and was making facial expressions like he knew exactly what was happening in the game. Too funny.

If I were a pioneer, I would stink...

and be really dirty. My washing machine has been out of commission for almost 3 weeks now and I have missed it dearly. You never realize just how much it is used until you can't use it. Luckily, the part broken was under warranty and it is up and running like new now. I will not miss the trips to the laundromat!
